Three Steps to Creating An Aesthetic Valentine's Look

Let’s talk about Valentine's Day looks for women and how to put the perfect outfit together for that special day. Have you ever accepted a date then waited until the last minute to pull an awesome outfit together? If so, I can relate to the meltdown that can happen when it's actually time to show up. So this year I put a few ideas together to help prepare us for our “Love Day” dates.

Three Steps to Creating Your Valentine's Look

We all know the “go to” colors for Valentine’s Day are shades of red and pink. But remember you can never go wrong with black and/or white. I took the time to give some background on these colors, so that you can choose the color(s) that match the vibe you want to create. Just in case you need some instant ideas, below are some cute dresses that I offer at chicvein.com.

Step One

Make sure your outfit is comfortable and fits your body well. If your outfit fits too loose, then you risk losing your body shape in all of the extra fabric. It’s an accepted fact that we always want to show off our best features so it's necessary to avoid outfits that are too tight. If it’s too tight then you may lose some class and elegance as a result.

Step Two

Choose colors that are appropriate for the occasion, but also create the aesthetic you're going for. Also be sure to pick the colors that best accent your skin tone. Take a look at how the "go to" Valentine's Day colors can set the tone for your look.

Red attracts the most attention and is associated with strong emotions, such as love and passion.Red Valentine's Day Outfit Options

Black is symbolic for  mystery, power, elegance, and sophistication.

Pink is a calming color associated with love, kindness, and femininity.

Step Three

Keep your personal style in mind and allow your personality to make an appearance throughout your outfit choices. Be sure to choose accessories that showcase who you are presenting yourself to be, that could be a pair of your most complimented sunglasses, to a stylish high-waist belt, to your favorite shoes or that one handbag that will be a conversation piece.

Self-confidence is the ultimate key to tapping into your personal style and creating an aesthetic look. No matter what you choose to wear, as long as you have confidence in yourself and you allow it to show, you will definitely feel secure in your clothing. Staying in tune with your star player is going to be your most valuable asset no matter the occasion or holiday.
